What a face!

Max Conall Black joined our family at 1:11 pm. He weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz. He was 21 1/2 inches long. It was an 8 hour labor by the time I was dilated to an 8 and we discovered that Max did not want to come out yet. He was too comfortable. He was turned. So, we proceeded with a c-section. It was a scary time for Jon and I. I did not know what to expect. We said a prayer and relied on the Lord to help us, and have the spirit to comfort us. It was quite an experience, but worth it for our little Max. It is amazing what our bodies can create through and by our Heavenly Father's Plan. Max is such a beautiful baby and we love every minute with him! We are so grateful to have the chance to have kids!
