Max is 1 month old. Time goes by way to fast. We are blessed to have Max in our lives! It has been a big learning experience trying to get on a routine. The best part of the routine is when we read the scriptures (children's version) and then pray together as a family. Max seems to sleep better when we have time to do it. "Having been born of goodly parents, therefore I was taught somewhat in all the learning of my father. " 1 Nephi 1:1. Nephi's parents were a great example of teaching the gospel to their children. I have been trying to apply the scriptures more in my life. Jon and I are striving to be "goodly parents", and have had great examples in our parents and through the scriptures. Becoming a mom has helped me realize how important it is that I constantly find ways to improve myself, but I have learned to that I can do so much more than I thought I could. What a relief!
I love this post, Chelsea. You and Jon are good examples to me, and I hope that Matt and I can remember your inspiration you shared here.
